Stay safe online
WebbliWorld is proud to be recognised as a safe site for kids by:
Despite appearances, WebbliWorld Safety Officer, Alfonso, is a cautious man. He never climbs into a cannon without inspecting it thoroughly first.
So, here are his top tips for making WebbliWorld a fun and safe place to explore.
- Never use your own name as your WebbliName.
- Never put any personal details, such as your own email address, into your WebbliStak.
- Never respond to an unsolicited email that says it's from WebbliWorld. Once you have registered, we will never ask you again for your personal details or your password or your WebbliName. If you receive any email that asks you for personal details, do not reply. Tell a parent/guardian.
- If you receive a suspicious email that claims to be from WebbliWorld, do not reply but do tell us about it.
- Never meet up with anyone you have made friends with via the internet. However well you think you know them, you cannot be sure that they are who they say they are and they may be much older than you think. If anyone asks to meet you via the internet, you should always tell your parent/guardian.
- If you see anything on WebbliWorld that you feel is suspicious or offensive - tell us straight away. We want to make WebbliWorld a safe world.
So, now you know how to be safe - explore and enjoy WebbliWorld!
